My stepdad has been working on a huge project for months now and he’s ready to make a deal with some investors. I fly home to surprise him and lend some support, but I took the red-eye and I am exhausted. Since no one knows I’m coming in anyway, I just get a cheap room at the hotel by the airport to get some dream and not wake him in the middle of the night before his big day. Now with all the excitement, I can’t dream, so I go down to the hotel bar thinking I can just grab a nightcap and go back up to my room. This dive bar is so dark and smokey. It’s a little sketchy so I decide to leave, but in the corner, there’s this woman that keeps taking men into the bathroom. I swear she looks just like my stepmom. Wait. Oh damn. That IS my stepmom.
